UK financial sector likely to pay lower fees to prudential watchdog this year

( April 10, 2025, 11:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: UK financial sector will likely pay lower fees to the Prudential Regulation Authority as compared to last year, according to a proposal from the Bank of England. The proposal is for firms to pay 342.5 million pounds for the financial year 2025/26 a decrease of 10.5 million pounds, or 3 percent from 2024/25. The levy is meant to support the regulatory work carried out by the PRA and costs are spread among regulated firms. Firms can provide feedback until May 9, 2025.Consultation is attached....
