( April 8, 2025, 09:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- UK insurers will be able to invest their assets before getting approval from the Prudential Regulation Authority under a new framework called Matching Adjustment Investment Accelerator. The framework, now under consultation until June, was in the watchdog's pipeline of reforms to boost growth. Sam Woods, chief of the PRA, said: "This innovation will enable insurers to make more rapid investment decisions and support growth in the UK economy, while protecting policyholders."Consultation paper is attached....
