UK financial services providers warned about misuse of children’s data

The Information Commissioner’s Office review found that companies often fail to revisit privacy information as children get older and their understanding increases. The report identified an increased risk of non-compliance, since only 14 percent of the companies surveyed had assigned responsibility for children’s data in policy.Statement follows.
