UK FCA fines, bans Odey for obstructing internal probe

The decision comes just after the regulator has postponed till June new rules that would make it easier for regulated firms to sack staff that behave inappropriately at work. Crispin Odey, founder of Odey Asset Management, has been fined more than 1.8 million pounds (around $2.4 million) and banned from working in the UK’s financial service industry, for obstructing OAM’s internal probe into his conduct....
