Allegations of fintech cartel spark further antitrust investigations in Indonesia

This stage of a probe will see the initial report on the online lending further reviewed. If deemed complete, the Indonesian Competition Commission will move to the preliminary examination stage, in which the investigation report will be presented before a panel of three Indonesian competition commissioners.The Indonesian Competition Commission, or KPPU, said today that it would move its investigation into an online-lending case to the “filing stage,” amid signs of cartel practices related to interest rates on loans by the online lenders, in a possible violation of competition law....
