Vulnerable customers need closer attention, UK financial services firms told

The Financial Conduct Authority gathered data from 725 firms on supporting vulnerable customers under existing guidance and the Consumer Duty. Publishing today examples of good and bad practices identified, it also said some firms were failing to support staff in identifying vulnerable customers, were not providing accessible channels, and lacked training for vulnerability for product and design staff.
