Investors in illegal Asset Land schemes urged to contact UK regulator

( March 4, 2025, 15:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Investors into illegal investment schemes operated by Asset Land companies have been asked to contact the UK Financial Conduct Authority. A High Court in 2012 ruled that Asset Land and its directors, David Banner-Eve and Stuart Cohen, were operating collective investment schemes without authorization and ordered them to pay 21 million pounds to the FCA. Today, the FCA said that “while the amount returned to investors is expected to be limited, we urge anyone who invested in the scheme and has not yet heard from us to get in touch before 25 March 2025.” Statement below....
