UK finance ministry, FLA, Consumer Voice won’t intervene in car-finance hearing

( February 18, 2025, 12:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The UK finance ministry, the Finance & Leasing Association and Consumer Voice have been denied permission to intervene in the landmark car-finance hearing taking place in April, the Supreme Court has said in a statement. The hearing will be key to deciding whether UK car-finance lenders owe billions in compensation to customers. The Financial Conduct Authority and the National Franchised Dealers Association have instead been granted permission to intervene by way of written and oral submissions.Statement follows....
