UK payments watchdog focusing on 'most serious' breaches of APP fraud rules

The Payment Systems Regulator said it hasn’t yet opened an investigation into a breach of the rules, which have been in effect for four months now and require banks and other payments firms to reimburse victims of APP fraud up to 85,000 pounds.The UK’s payments regulator today said it would only take enforcement action against the most serious and persistent breaches of its "authorized push payment" fraud reimbursement rules, rather than every instance of non-compliance....
