UK cryptoasset firms see regulatory timeline published by FCA

( November 26, 2024, 00:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- The UK's cryptoasset sector has been given details of the financial services watchdog's plans to implement rules covering trading as well as admission, disclosure and market abuse. The Financial Conduct Authority "roadmap" also covers stablecoins. The FCA said final rules governing the sector will be published in 2026. The regulator has also published research showing that more UK consumers are buying cryptoassets than ever before. Statement below....
