EU investors’ single access point rules by supervisory authorities sent to EU Commission for adoption

( October 29, 2024, 15:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The three European Supervisory Authorities — EBA, ESMA, and Eiopa — released their final report today on standards for specific tasks of the collection bodies and functionalities of the European Single Access Point (ESAP). The rules aim to enable prospective users to access and use financial and sustainability information in a centralized platform. The ESAP is expected to start collecting information in July 2026 and publishing the information no later than July 2027, the authorities say.
