US House of Representatives approves appropriations bill package including FTC funding

Included in the package is $389.8 million for the Federal Trade Commission. Federal fiscal years begin each Oct. 1. Before funding can become final, the Senate must also vote on its appropriations bills. Later, the two chambers must approve any compromises worked out between negotiators representing each chamber.
