Standards for audit committees finalized by UK regulator

( May 22, 2023, 08:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The UK’s audit watchdog has published minimum standards for audit committees, which it says will enhance performance and ensure a consistent approach across the committees that are in charge of overseeing financial reporting and disclosures. The rules apply to listed companies within the FTSE 350 and are currently voluntary, although they will become mandatory once anticipated legislation is in force. The final standards follow a consultation published last November. The Financial Reporting Council said that responses were broadly supportive and been summarized in the feedback statement.Statement below and documents attached....
