( November 14, 2022, 20:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Martin Gruenberg, acting chief of the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, will be nominated by President Joe Biden to serve as chair of the regulatory agency. His nomination has to be confirmed by the Democratic-controlled Senate. Since 2005, Gruenberg has served as vice chair, chair and acting chair of the regulator, which works with the Federal Reserve and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency on bank regulation and supervision.See statement below....
