Global finance sector consulted on recommendations for data flow, regulation of cross-border payments

( July 16, 2024, 12:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Global financial entities have been invited to comment today on the Financial Stability Board's proposed recommendations to promote greater alignment across data frameworks related to cross-border payments and consistency in the regulation and supervision of bank and non-bank payment service providers. The proposed recommendations were made as part of the G20 cross-border payments roadmap, including establishing a forum for cross-sectoral collaboration on data issues.
