ABLV seeks compensation from ECB, SRB over its 2018 collapse

( April 17, 2023, 12:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Defunct Latvian lender ABLV has brought a new case against the European Central Bank and EU bank wind-up authority the Single Resolution Board at the EU General Court, requesting 414 million euros ($454 million) in compensation over its collapse. The SRB chose not to adopt a resolution scheme for ABLV, which collapsed in 2018 after being accused of money laundering.
