US banking regulators finalize changes to Basel III capital rules

( July 28, 2015, 21:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, US Federal Reserve, and US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation on Tuesday finalized revisions to the Basel III capital framework for large banks adopted in 2013. The changes clarify the qualification criteria and calculation requirements for risk-weighted assets, and clarify that banks with more than $250 billion in total consolidated assets are subject to the supplementary leverage ratio.Statement follows in full.
