But nobody foresaw Lina Khan's appointment as FTC chair, and her views on privacy are far less well known. That lack of information has the privacy world buzzing about what she might or might not do as the FTC's new leader.The 21-page questionnaire Lina Khan submitted to Congress in connection with her nomination to the US Federal Trade Commission cites “antitrust,” “competition” or “monopoly” 48 times. “Privacy” is mentioned only in the title of a single, 2018 conference where Khan spoke on the “Threat of Global Tech Monopolies.”...
