Resolution of Credit Suisse would have triggered financial crisis, Swiss regulator says

The chair of the Swiss financial regulator's board also called for more enforcement powers in the wake of the Credit Suisse event, including the ability to impose fines and make supervisory actions public.Had Credit Suisse been wound down using bank resolution powers, rather than sold to rival UBS, a financial crisis would have been triggered, senior Swiss financial regulator Marlene Amstad said today....
