White House advisers back Senate community bank proposal

( March 7, 2018, 18:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The White House's Office of Management and Budget said a US Senate bill to ease Dodd-Frank regulations on community banks is consistent with the administrations "core principles" for regulating the US financial system. The White House said the bill "contains common-sense reforms that will improve consumers’ access to credit, tailor regulations to better fit our diverse financial system, and provide enhanced protections to consumers and veterans." If the bill is submitted to President Donald Trump, his advisers would recommend he sign it into law.See document below....
