Trade associations request narrowing of EU foreign subsidies tool notification

( April 4, 2023, 13:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Trade organizations from the US, UK, Japan and industry associations want the European Commission to limit the notification of financial contributions under the foreign subsidies regulation to the operations most likely to raise issues. In a joint statement signed by the American Chamber of Commerce, Invest Europe, the European Brands Association or the European Australian Business Council, among others, the entities said to the EU executive that it should also exempt the disclosure of classified information in notification procedures.See statement attached....
