Equal treatment of foreign-funded firms embedded in China's execution rules for foreign investment law

( November 5, 2019, 08:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China is seeking public comment on a set of draft regulations for the execution of the foreign investment law. The regulations require government agencies not to discriminate against or impose unreasonable conditions on foreign-funded companies participating in government procurement activities, and to provide related guidance and services for all businesses on an equal basis. The government departments are also prohibited from applying technological requirements that are more stringent than mandatory standards for foreign-funded firms, according to the regulations.
