Company Statement: Moody's announces registration of EU-based entities

( October 31, 2011, 17:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Moody's Investors Service welcomed registration of its entities in the European Union and endorsed the ratings produced by its affiliates in Japan, following today's regulatory decisions by EU authorities. Ratings produced in the US and other jurisdictions not yet approved for endorsement will remain in use for three to six months, marked as "EU Qualified by Extension," while awaiting decisions on those countries.The following is the text of the statement....
