Lloyds, Rabobank pay fines to settle Swiss watchdog's Yen Libor probe

( July 2, 2019, 09:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Swiss competition authority has today fined Lloyds 295,000 francs (around $300,000), and Rabobank 390,000 francs, as part of a settlement deal to end its investigation into manipulation of yen interest-rate derivatives based on Yen Libor. The two banks exchanged a limited number of communications on the Yen Libor between 2006 and 2008, Comco said in a statement. The authority has also closed its probe into the Euroyen Tibor against Lloyds and Rabobank and its Euribor investigation against Rabobank, while its investigation into HSBC, UBS, ICAP, RP Martin and Tullett Prebon is still ongoing.Statement follows in French. ...
