Indonesia's financial services watchdog to issue new fintech regulations by end of year

Both the OJK and Bank Indonesia, the country's central bank, plan to publish the regulations by the end of the year. OJK Finance Supervisor Aloysius Saragih said that the watchdog was meeting with the Indonesian Financial Technology Association to review the contents of the draft regulations. The proposed rules would add to the existing digital finance regulations, which only regulate traditional financial players such as banks....
