Eurozone banks won't get capital requirement hikes from ECB in wake of climate-change guide

By Fiona Maxwell ( November 27, 2020, 12:15 GMT | Insight) -- Eurozone banks shouldn’t expect sudden changes to their capital requirements following a guide from the European Central Bank on how to approach climate-related risks. The ECB will continue to work with the European Banking Authority, a senior official said, as it reviews how to incorporate environmental, social and governance risks into the prudential framework.
