Countries taking range of institutional approaches to bank resolution, supervision, Financial Stability Institute says

Among the arrangements are including the two functions in the same agency, placing them in different agencies, incorporating both within the central bank, and assigning different resolution functions to more than one agency. Jurisdictions should be careful to avoid conflicts of interest between the two functions and to assure that the agencies are adequately coordinating with each other, said Basel-based FSI, a unit of the Bank for International Settlements.See document below. ...
