Microsoft's guarantees to data transfers welcomed by German watchdog

The US tech giant said it will challenge every government request for public sector or enterprise customer data, which comes in response to EU data protection regulators' guidance following a European Court of Justice ruling on safeguards for cross-border data transfers. The German watchdogs have also been in talks about privacy updates to Microsoft's Office 365, and those talks are ongoing.Statement in German follows....
