UK’s asset management rules should be modernized, Financial Conduct Authority says

( February 20, 2023, 11:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Rules for asset managers in the UK should be tightened in some areas and loosened in others, the Financial Conduct Authority said today as it set out its thinking on the regulatory regime. The FCA said in a discussion paper that it wants to modernize the UK’s rules for funds and asset managers post-Brexit, and the document sets out ideas relating to technology, efficiency and improving customer experience.
