Deloitte fined by UK's FRC for audit failures of unnamed company
( November 6, 2020, 10:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Deloitte has been issued a 362,500 pound fine by the audit regulator and a former partner of the company has been reprimanded in relation to financial statements of an unnamed company ending January 2016. The financial penalty was originally set at 500,000 pounds, but was reduced as Deloitte cooperated with the investigation, which related to breaches including failing to ensure there was sufficient audit evidence.
