French Covid-19 app to include test results to allow intra-EU travel

( April 19, 2021, 16:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: French contact-tracing app TousAntiCovid will include a new feature to allow users to prove the results of a Covid-19 test, whether they have recovered from the virus or to certify a vaccination status. The app feature, which follows an EU proposal for a Digital Green Certificate to ease travel within the EU, can be verified at a national level, and then by other EU countries, and eventually outside of the EU, the government said. The goal is to make the verification of certificates interoperable at European level before June 17. The feature will soon be tested on flights to Corsica and French overseas territories, the government said today. Statement follows in French....
