Foreign investment applications to be fast-tracked for favored dealmakers, Australian government says

In a major policy speech in Sydney, Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers said the country’s Foreign Investment Review Board will aim to process 50 percent of foreign investment applications within 30 days, beginning on Jan. 1, 2025.
