Chinese securities watchdog revises disclosure rules for asset restructuring of listed firms

The revision improves disclosure rules for significant asset restructuring of listed companies, the regulator said in a statement. The improvements include a simplified version of restructuring plans to shorten the period of a suspension of trading, and a series of rules requiring disclosure of information such as ultimate investors and their sources of capital under certain circumstances.The statement follows and the text of the revised rules is attached....
