Stock exchanges, traders should synchronize clocks, Iosco says

( September 11, 2019, 12:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Stock exchanges and traders should synchronize their clocks using the globally recognized norm known as coordinated universal time, or UTC, the International Organization of Securities Commissions has said in a draft recommendation put out for consultation. Thirteen out of 24 surveyed jurisdictions already regulate the use of UTC, allowing regulators to reconstruct cross-jurisdictional market events.
