Regulation: German Network agency announces decision on price-cap in postal market

( August 28, 2007, 11:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The German Network agency has announced its proposed price-caps to apply to the rates Deutsche Post is allowed to charge private customers and small trade operators for letter services as of January 2008. The proposed decision, due to be published in the authority's official journal tomorrow, would leave the current price level almost unchanged and refutes the presumtion that only coporate clients would benefit from the postal liberalisation whereas small clients and private customers would face price increases and reductions in quality, the authority said.
