Single Resolution Board proposes extended chairmanship for König

( November 29, 2017, 11:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission today proposed extending the mandate of Single Resolution Board chair Elke König for five years, starting on Dec. 24. König, the former President of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, was appointed SRB chair at the end of 2014, for an initial period of three years. The proposal will now be transmitted to the European Parliament and the Council of the EU for approval and extension of the mandate.
