EU sends additional charges sheet to Visa over inter-regional interchange fees

( August 3, 2017, 10:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission has sent Visa Inc. and Visa International a supplementary Statement of Objections, in its ongoing probe into the collective setting of fees that Visa cardholders' banks demand from merchants for payments made with a Visa card. The additional-charges sheet includes inter-regional fees that are applied to payments made with debit cards, the commission said.Full statement follows....
