CFPB takes first rule-making step for debt collection firms

( November 6, 2013, 05:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is seeking public comment and information on tactics used by 4,500 debt collection firms in the US in a possible prelude to rulemaking, according to a Tuesday statement.
