European Commission hosts international summit on safe data flows

The meeting will be chaired by EU Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders and joined by vice president Věra Jourová and the Chair of the EDPB, the EU's umbrella body for data protection authorities. Ministers and heads of data protection authorities from 15 countries, for which the EU has already adopted an adequacy decision, will discuss how to cooperate for safe and free data flows, the statement said.
