Risky, rushed and secretive behavior mustn't become the standard, committee says

The committee criticized the use of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, which it said hindered proper stakeholder engagement in Brexit preparations. The committee also expressed concerns about the Department of Transport’s capacity, and said in the report that it feared that assurances by the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs of no food shortages were “another example of over-optimism.”Statement follows.
