China unveils guidelines for conducting third-party assessments in fair-competition reviews

The move aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of these reviews conducted by policy-making bodies. According to the guidelines, policymakers can engage qualified third parties to provide assessment reports when conducting fair-competition reviews of their newly-proposed and existing policies, carrying out regular assessments of policies that have gone through the review process, and evaluating the implementation of the fair-competition review mechanism.The text of the guidelines follows:...
