NYSE-listed stocks migrated to other exchanges during July 8 trading halt, SEC report finds

( February 3, 2016, 16:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Trading activity in stocks listed on the New York Stock Exchange appeared to have migrated to other trading venues, particularly other exchanges, during the NYSE's three-hour trading halt last July 8, according to a US Securities and Exchange Commission staff research paper. The NYSE had a technical problem that day that caused a trading halt from 11:32 am to 3:10 pm.Statement follows in full. Also see document below....
