Judge turns down banks’ bid to throw out Yen Libor suit

( November 12, 2014, 20:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US District Judge George Daniels has refused a request from four banks to try to throw out a lawsuit alleging they manipulated the Yen London Interbank Offered Rate and Euroyen Tokyo Interbank Offered Rate. The banks — HSBC, Societe Generale, Barclays and Cooperatieve Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank, also known as Rabobank — had asked Daniels for permission to bring a motion to dimiss the suit for lack of personal jurisdiction, but Daniels said the motion came too late.See document below....
