SEC charges NY businessman, software company with securities fraud

( October 31, 2014, 19:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Securities and Exchange Commission filed charges against New York-based businessman Gregory Rorke and his software company Navagate for allegedly making false statements to investors while raising more than $3 million to fund operations. The SEC enforcement division also filed charges against Gregory Osborn and his New Jersey-based broker-dealer Middlebury Securities, which served as the placement agent in selling Navagate securities.
