Chinese securities regulator publishes new rules for stake sales by major shareholders

( January 7, 2016, 04:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The China Securities Regulatory Commission today published new regulations regarding stake sales by major shareholders and senior executives of listed companies. The regulations list circumstances under which the shareholders and executives are prohibited from selling shares and which require sale plans to be disclosed in advance. The rules replace the government’s previous temporary measures that imposed a six-month ban on share sales by major shareholders and senior executives of listed companies.
