JPMorgan to pay $48 million in OCC deal over mortgage servicing flaws

( January 5, 2016, 19:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency fined JPMorgan Chase $48 million for failing to meet terms of a 2013 deal over improper mortgage servicing practices following the financial crisis. The fine will terminate the bank's obligations from the previous order, in which JPMorgan had faced penalties and payments to borrowers.
