FCA floats binary options ban, restrictions on contracts for difference
( December 7, 2018, 09:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Financial firms could be banned from selling, marketing or distributing binary options to retail customers under permanent measures proposed by the UK’s financial watchdog to tackle widespread concerns about the practice. The Financial Conduct Authority has also proposed restrictions to ensure contracts for difference are only marketed and sold to customers who understand the risks from trading such products.
