UK's EU financial services access not a given, Von der Leyen warns

The comments mean there could be an abrupt cessation of market access at the end of the year as trade talks judder to a halt. The commission had no plans for further unilateral measures beyond existing rules to guard UK clearinghouse access to EU clients, commission president Ursula von der Leyen said in answer to a question from an EU lawmaker....
