Failings by Equifax's UK unit over 2017 data breach earn fine from financial regulator six years on

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority fined Equifax for failing to manage and monitor the security of UK consumer data it had outsourced to its parent company — exposing consumers to the risk of financial crime and an attack that was entirely preventable.
