CashEuroNet grants redress totaling GBP1.7 million to 4,000 clients

( November 4, 2015, 16:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: High-interest short-term loan provider CashEuroNet UK will write off the loan balances of roughly 2,500 customers and refund interest that was paid by around a thousand clients with unaffordable loans. The total redress, to almost 4,000 people, will cost the company GBP1.7 million, after the UK Financial Conduct Authority scrutinized the firm’s lending criteria, which have since been changed.
